    Default Mount Panorama Supersprint

    Hi Guys,

Just thought I'd let you know about an that is on in Bathurst on the 29/30 November at Mount Panorama.

    http://bathurstlightcarclub.com.au/s...lations-forms/

On the Saturday there is a supersprint that starts on Conrod Straight, through the chase, and finishes on the main straight, 2 cars go per run, but there is meant to be no racing

On the Sunday there is a flying 1/5th, basically start a long way up Conrod Straight, gun it for all you've got, and then you are timed over 200m towards the end of the straight before the Chase. Last time they ran, fastest average over the 200m was about 255km/h.

Basic CAMS rules apply, need a L2S licence, long sleeves, helmet, and a fire extinguisher.

If anyone is interested, I'm led to believe that it is almost full.

    Cheers
    Nathan

ive entered the saturdays supersprint event, but wasnt interested in the 200m drag race as it was replaced instead of the hill climb.
255km in 200m! that is bloody quick, what was it? ( i guess going downhill helps a bit but damn...

It is a flying 1/5 so you start approx 600m before the start of the timing.

It was a corvette that did 255km/h.

I'm keen to see my improvement with the tune on the flying 1/5, hoping I might sneak under 3 seconds

    oh i see.
When i asked Christine, the event secretary, she just said it was a standing start 200m, so i just assumed a very basic 200m drag race on your own.
This version sound much faster so im emailing her back to see if i can still enter
