It was an incident we had nothing to do with, but it makes us all look like trouble, just because we were nearby with done up cars- what knobs!
Just thinking it was lucky more cops didn't turn up after the accident, otherewise some of our Toys could have had unwanted attention, & even better the girl wasn't seriously hurt, but why stand there for god sake!

The big cruise finished up at what looked like a football park, but the people who parked there didn't stay for long. The CCAD was another few hundred metres further up the road.

Idiots egging people in their cars on to burnout effectively blocking off the road going to where the CCAD was. Then that shit happened. I had my nephew in his mini along for the cruise as well, they tried to get him to get a burnout going too... poor underpowered mini (N/A, 998cc) doesn't have the guts to turn a wheel in anger. Dickheads like that give genuine car enthusiasts a bad name.

Not exactly bogged, more like stranded. Nothing an LSD couldn't fix. Actually I'm surprised he got as far as he did without scrubbing up the bodywork.

Looks like the whole thing turned out pretty well for the amount of knob jockery on display from some of those guys.

Girl is ok (people do not realise how quickly and dramatically these things can go wrong.

I'm glad I wasn't there. Joseph's celica of many colours would have been a shoo in for police attention

The police are not too bad if they see a car being driven sensibly, even if it is mulit-coloured and/or modified.

However, any car, regardless of its age and manufacture, will attract attention when going sideways or doing burn outs.

There was only one cop car for the whole area up until I went home, (I did pass another cop car & a Ambulance on the drive home), I'm sure they felt very out numbered with the large crowd looking on, I bet there will be a bigger police presence next year, perhaps we need a backup venue...

A HP car showed up just as me and Vito were leaving (well after everyone else had left though), but I figure he was just doing a once-around.

As for backup venue, shouldn't be a problem as the Anzac Day cruise is exactly that - on/around Anzac Day; they just postponed it this year due to it being too close to Easter.

I personally have learned a lesson by doing burnouts where people post them up .Yep i was dumb. Why would anyone do a burnout where there is 500 phone cameras pointing at you . Recipe for problems.Let alone with people standing around with no protection like a shell .

1 in 10 cars have dash cams which will record people giving it a hit .

I seen something at Wisemans that i thought was great. It was the Toyota club. They paid to have a section right down the bottom in the park . They had a BBQ set up and all their cars were lined up .
I watched them all cruise in and not 1 revved or made a statement by breaking traction .
They all stood around, ate socialized and not 1 piece of grass they parked on was destroyed .
They had families with them and looked to be having a great time .

You would not see this unless you went out with a select group.

Thanks I have met some genuine nice guys in the rotor community but.....

This is my Q to get out of Rotors.
Thanks to everyone who came along for making our club stand out in a positive way!

I wonder if those very skilled drivers realized that the police station is just around the corner and that the sound of their burnouts was echoing everywhere.

You'll find that a lot of regional/rural cop shops aren't open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (and Wisemans Ferry is a pretty sleepy community)...

To be fair, Wiseman's has one cop for the whole area. The Hawkesbury LAC operates much the same as many regional areas.
