Time for him to get it dirty I reckon. No better opportunity than the Nationals.
Can't wait.
Keen to even do a couple photo shoots if the weather & sunset permits, if anyone is interested.

As long as time permits. Even Friday arvo/evening. I'm not a big fan of daytime shoots. The light & shadows are too harsh.
Even a dawn shoot if anyone is REALLY keen. Or willing to chuck me the keys if they can't/won't get up early enough.

Only a few days left before the cutoff, get your entries in quick! Also a handy tip for first timers - bring a deck chair. There isn't really any seating at the motorkhana, drags or show and shine. I'll have the toymods marquee there for shade, but seating will be a byo thing

And then, new exhaust & re-tune in the next 2wks.

I've got a decent list for the MX83;
~ MA70 LSD swap, weld shit onto the subframe so I can use my new build 4.11 LSD diff
~ Weld and fit new hectic BC coilovers
~ Full front brake job + braided lines all round
~ New o-ring on the aristo oil cooler as it leaks onto my new engine mount
~ Replace the transmission hose with fuel hose on the fuel reg
~ Mount fire extinguisher in the boot
~ Drop car off for new 3.5" exhaust
~ Insure the **** with Shannons!

Gearbox is bolted back up. Engine mounts done up. Next on the list is the shifter linkages, and rear brakes and suspension

shift kit and auto trans fluid flush to do, plus polish wheels engine bay. Also nodays off between now and then.

I can see some late nights approaching

fucking rear suspension from the faildub wont fit the new shell. looks like ill be competing with standard shitty rear shocks
