I'm on the hunt for a spare shell (actually just the engine bay frame) for my Excel.
To do the engine conversion, I need to cut the driver's side mount off the car, and make a bolt on version. I'd rather do this with a spare car rather than on mine, and render it unusable.

So if anyone spots someone with a crashed Excel (or even a dumped one), please let me know.

All I need is the chassis rails, firewall & lower rad support to be straight. No panels, lights etc needed. Also needs to be 98- as the engine crossmember is different. Doesn't matter what body style, they're all the same underneath at the front.

But you don't need to find this out, just an address is fine, I'll do the rest of the work. And I will travel as I have a company car

Think I've finally sorted out how to do the last engine mount change on mine, so the orange chicane should be a little harder to get around next day
But I'm trying to find an early noughties (00 - 03) Accent at the wreckers, as I need the fuel tank & lines (returnless fuel system). Unfortunately, most places drill a hole in them to drain the fuel
I guess the 3 door, 5 door & sedan are all the same floor pan, but I definitely know the 3 door one fits my car.
