Rb30 into yn57 hilux

Hey guys I have a rb30 engine I'm putting in my hilux. Does anyone know anything about this conversion or know anyone that has done this before. I am a mechanic but I have not done a conversion before. I know you can get custom bellhousing to keep the hilux 5 speed in the car. Any advice would be great thanks guys

I put one in my RN46 22 years ago. It was a bit of a squeeze but I believe your engine bay is a little longer which would make things easier. I made an adapter plate and used a A340H Toyota transmission which was not such a good match as regards the operation of the transmission. I still have the adapter plate but not the RN46.
Why not use the gearbox which fits the motor?
