Default Toyotafest Karting! Saturday Oct 5

So, since this is the 10th anniversary of toyotafest I thought we should do something a little extra. As a result, I am organising a gokarting day at eastern creek the day before.

    https://www.facebook.com/events/554799917918586/

The venue is eastern creek karts, and we will be doing a mini grand prix which includes:
    - warm up
    - 4 heats
    - grand final

Time is not confirmed yet but I will aim for around midday. Cost is currently $210 per person but we are trying to negotiate a better rate. Also. If people are interested, we can go and watch the movie "Rush" afterwards at a cinema nearby? Make a full day of it...

    http://www.easterncreekkarts.com.au/grand-prix.php#mini

I need at least 10 people to be on board for this to go ahead, so please confirm if you are going to make it as soon as possible people!

sweet, still sorting out the time atm. i should know definitely tomorrow, might end up being in the afternoon by the sounds of it though

also, they will need a deposit, it might be easier if you all just pay me the full entry fee upfront and i take care of the payments rather than juggling deposits n shit?

Bit out of my price range at the moment, but a group movie session afterwards for Rush would be awesome since I'm going to be staying down in Sydney on Saturday night

Ok so the time is looking to be 1pm or thereabouts, i think the closest cinema is blacktown? For anyone that wants to watch rush afterwards.

Going to put a deposit down today, I'll collect the balance from people that turn up on the day, probably easier than trying to organise net payments in the little time we have left now..

Ok so time is definitely 1pm. I have also been able to secure a discount which means the entry price has now been reduced to $180

We will be going on the longest configuration of the track, 1024m long (track 3)
    http://www.easterncreekkarts.com.au/...ircuit-map.php

The race is expected to take 3 hours, the closest cinema to the track is Hoyts blacktown, Rush is on at 6:30pm there if anyone is keen...

At this time I am not 100% sure on being able to make it. Will find out what's going on with the family barbeque. Would have been better if it were a morning event.

Enjoy the karting lads, my moneys on Cuzzo. Or maybe Vito, but he's pretty massive these days I hear.
