Circuit diagram for 100 series gauage cluster... HELP!

G'day People,

I'm chasing the circuit diagram for a 100 series Land cruiser Gauge Cluster, 2004 onwards.

In particular, I need the Crystal frequency for XL1 on the board.

I can find the wiring diagram for the whole car very easily, but the circuit for the cluster is proving much more difficult.

I'm quite sure nobody else in the world needs this info, except me, but I thought I'd ask the question on here anyway.

better ask someone to take a snapshot of it. I'm sure there isn't single circuit diagram as cluster isn't meant to be repaired by officials if it fails

what are you trying to do
adjust the speedo or tacho frequency?

The crystal XL1 is u/s, which in turn causes none of the gauges to operate.

I just want to know the frequency of the original crystal so I can replace it.

The original crystal has "400u" stamped on it, but none of the component suppliers can match it....

sounds like 40.0 MHz , or 4.00 MHz as second best guess

Its prob easier to buy second hand dash hehe
U need to speak to an instrument shop
I know when I play with the 1hdfte and landcruiser conversions I need to be careful with the 100 series dashes
As the oil gauge can stuff up easily
Do u have a dump or flash if u get a new chip

I'll try a 40.0 MHz xtal, and if that doesn't work I'll try a 4.00 MHz..... If they don't work I'll look for a second hand cluster...

ok I might know where to find a cluster as I do a lot of 1hdfte conversions for a friends shop
