I would leave it there as some wires are for diagnosing the rest of car
Only one or two is for the engine
I am currently running a Apexi PFC in the car( jzx100) and plan to swap to a Haltech platinum sport 2000 down the track , im getting rid of all the unused wiring thats not necessary or used , my question is do i really need the stock diagnostic plug (the big one in the engine bay) ? and will it still run correctly if i carefully remove it buy poping all the pins out on the main loom plugs
i would like to keep the loom as tidy as possible and remove everything thats not necessary as it is a drift car

It's safe to get rid of it. 1jz-gte vvti runs obd1-style diagnostics unles it's sourced from some newer chassis like JZS171/JZX110. So it's reasonable to just have +B,E1,TE1,TE2,VF2 somewhere near ecu.

Engine conversion is when you drive a shitbox which costs a whole LEXUS to own
