    Thumbs up [DETAIL] Mini Cooper S Correction Detail

    It has been a while since we have posted any of our detailing work so we thought we would share this sporty little MCS Convertible.

    The car was delivered not far from the state shown below to the customer from BMW - now given that it was an ex demo this is completely understandable due to the amount of times this car was likely washed in a rush, or wiped down in the showroom whilst dust or dirt particles were over the paint.

    The car was booked for;

    - Full Paint Correction Detail
    - Protection of the Paintwork with Nanolex Nano One & Nanolex Premium Spray Sealant
    - Convertible Roof Clean & Treatment/Protection
    - Full Interior Clean (inclusive)

    Some pictures of the car on arrival;

    Tape Removed for 50/50 Shot

    Passenger Side

    Zoomed in showing the Metallic Flake popping out

    The notorious windscreen frame/pillars which mar very easily as most Mini owners know!

    Vinyl Correction is possible to an extend and what is more important is to protect those surfaces afterwards to prevent further marring and oxidation to any vinyl areas (inclusive of vinyl wrapped vehicles*).

    The Results

    Reflection Shot with Nanolex Nano One & Nanolex Premium Spray Sealant.

    The Paint Correction; After the Roof was protected and taped up we used Menzerna FG500 with the RUPES Rotary Buffer and Menzerna Yellow Pad was used, the DAS6 Pro and Surbuf Pads for those harder to reach & delicate areas - Finishing and refining with the new RUPES LHR15mm (15mm Orbit) and 1Z Einszett PF2500 and SF4000 to bring maximum gloss, depth and clarity to the Mini (BMW) Paintwork.

    The Roof was cleaned thoroughly with 1Z Einszett Blitz All Purpose Cleaner, air dried and allowed to dry further to ensure all water and moisture was out of the fabric. Followed with protection from Nanolex Convertible Top Sealant for 12+ Months against UV rays, dirt, oil, and of course add water repellency – to avoid any chances of that soft top becoming a convertible sponge top.

    Paintwork Protect with Nanolex Nano One & Nanolex Premium Spray Sealant leaving the paint with a nice deep wet finish. This was also applied to the vinyl striping.

    Wheel Cleaning: Our favourite Wheel Woolies in combination with 1Z Einszett ColourTec Wheel Cleaner and also 1Z Einszett Felgen (Wheel) Cleaner for the more stubborn areas inside the wheels were used.

    Any questions or comments are always welcome.

    For any Paint Protection, Paint Correction Detailing we are more than happy to advise and quote you*. All our work is carried out in house with Car Care Products.
