hiro is on the money there. but it all comes down to what actually ends up on your garage floor 3sge/gte, 1j, 1g, 4age, 1uz most have been done already so the info is out there just have to dig for it.
130 series have a few similarities to 140 series. a good person to ask is javal.

Its a altezza ,dont know were i got lexus from. But year its a Toyota Altezza RS200 3SGE Beams Auto Tiptronic Half Cut

Well, the Lexus IS200 is the same as an Altezza (apart from badges/engine options etc), but either way it's not a 3SGTE

And the auto BEAMS engines aren't as good as the manual ones (less compression, less power, milder cams, lower torque rpm peak etc)

So in my quest to find some info Ive found a site that some one has fitted a 3sge beams into a ke550 corrolla . ON size terms it looks very similar (are they?) even the crossmember looks to be the same.

it'll fit.

motor is a front sump? crossmember and swaybar has a similar setup? then it should fit.
obviously youll need to fabricate some parts but if you want it to fit bad enough youll find a way to do it.

130s are mid sump not front.

yes 130's are mid sumped............... but a 3sge is not

That might pose an issue lol! You got the motor out of the xt yet? Really the centre of the xmember has to come back a few inches. Might be worth seeing if you can use a different one out of a celica or even a 140 series

yes...... Ive just given up. Its got a gremlin . One minute its running sweet then the timing is gone fule mixtures are up crap then it will run fine.
Today i even watched as the timing basicly ran away from the timing mark........... with out adjusting the dam thing

Small update.
My 3sge motor i was bidding on got sniped and i missed out. But iam still putting another engine in it.It will be a holden 202 rebuilt and a celica or supra gearbox behind it.
Reason for a 202 Its cheap and easy to work on and plenty of after market parts out there,
Also Got the starfire out today so in my eyes thats already a improvement
