Can I use different igniters on my 1uz ?

Having a hard time finding some igniters for my 1uzfe early model non vvti , just got quoted $500 each piece!
So was wondering if there is any other igniters I can get off another car, that will still work ?

what igniters do u need
I got afew 1uz igniters lying around
201 type
and 123 or 125 type
u should use correct ones as wrong ones might bring in rpm limit at 4 or 5 g

Some Celica and Camry ones are the same but not sure which model. Perhaps visit the wreckers with the part no from yours written down (not sure if Pick a Part out in Wingate are still around, last went there 8 years ago)

I did get some new ones from Repco about a year back and they were listed for a Celica (crossed over the original part number) but I forget which model(ST205?), Cost of around $115AUD each and coils (listed for a '91 UCF10 LS400) were $55AUD ea, both Champion branded, Caps and rotors being Bosch at $45 and $14 respectively FYI. (Prices at trade and in AUD).

Or you could try the car tune company in Hamilton who will most likely want your left nut and first born for one

201 igniters are off 4ag 20v silvertops
I had heaps of stuff but no onw wanted to buy any off it so
half of it went to the tip and way things are going when I move in afew months
the rest will follow to the tip
