i would very much like to see club members rides thread.

i used to have access but since moving to adelaide there hasnt been much point in being a paid member.

maybe it could be invite only, or based on rep points, or join date of forum?

Part of the reason I've used it in the past is the knowledge that any old random CAN'T view it. Invite only would be a pain to maintain, rep points are all but meaningless by this stage, and join date won't filter out undesirable folk. Opening it up would defeat the point of its existence to start with?

I know that's teh exact reason why I only have a thread in the members section.
It was in the open section to start with a too many people were adding nonsense posts to it so shifted it.

As stated above, the reason this was set up was to offer additional benefit to Club Members (particularly those from interstate) and to give them a place where they can be a little more detailed with what they are doing without either,
Spoiling the surprise for the rest of the forum members, or
To keep details of their garage content away from other forum members who may or may not be as honest with ownership rights, or
Keeping details generally out of google results for whatever reason.

The question from the OP is valid, I'd I'll add it to the next board meeting aganda.

My own personal opinion, (and not necessarily shared by the Board) is that the intent of the section is for the benefit of Club Members as an incentive to continued membership. I you are not a Club Member or membership has lapsed, then the benefit isn't available.

Some feedback from current Club Members however would be useful.
