Default output from tach feed 2jzgte - after market gauge compatability

hi, i'm stuck with my conversion and after a bit of help, i am wanting to fit an aftermarket tachometer / rev counter gauge to my dash - infact i'm building a complete new custom dash so i want all the dash gauges to match, this is the gauge i want to fit

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2710074107...#ht_1355wt_936

the problem is i dont know if its compatable with the ecu tach feed from the 2jzgte i have spoke to the guys at the company who sells them and they need more specific information on the actual output, according to the them it needs an output that is a 12v square wave (or 5v that can be pulled-up with a resistor) then it will work ok

i have shown this video i found on youtube but he still is unsure if the gauge will work

can anyone tell me exactly what the output is so i can relay the information to him or can anyone tell me if it will work or not? i can't seem to find the info all i can find is which pinout it is - which i know

    cheers

    Signal comes from the ignitor
Pretty sure it's a weak signal prob 0 to 3 volts
Most late model aftermarket tacos should work
And if not I just fit a tachometer booster to get some older style tacos to work
There info on here on how to make one
