Toyotafest 2012 - Sunday 30 September

Do we have any indication of numbers ? So far here im counting well under 20, and unsure of other groups but hoping its going to be worth our while to come along.

Plenty of people come because they know it is on every year at the same time champ, they just don't necessarily post on the forum. Last year 123 cars were entered to give you an idea of how many cars generally show up and that was in shitty weather with it pissing down outside.

Yep well . . . The Mrs and i are excited to bring 2 cars for a run and a look , and we both got the day off in advance , so hopefully more posts will encourage a bit of positive enthusiasm to get more people off their butts lol

Generally speaking toyotafest has a LOT more entrants than people that post on the forums. A lot f people that aren't regular forum members come out of the woodwork for toyotafest every year.

We are still expecting at least 100 cars to show up so don't worry about it

Dont forget that we get a few other clubs turn up as well, including Canberra Celica Club, Rad rollers, Twincam etc. We are expecting over 100 cars, so it will be worth coming along to. See you there.

Well if the weather is good I'll be bringing mine out for display. Been a couple of years building it would be good to display it.

Been to the past couple of toyotafests, they are great such a diverse range of toyotas.

So a nice turn of events has seen us with the opportunity to have Toyota organise a car to bring to the show, and as it so happens they have a 'special' FT86 booked in for ToyotaFest 2012..! This is as much info I have... it's gonna be a surprise for all of us. Can't wait to see what they've organised.
Everything is starting to fall into place, albeit very last minute, but this year is going to be just as good, if not better, than previous years. I've spoken with mother nature too, and made a deal to have sunny weather delivered for the day.

Oh yeah, entry forms are now online, so feel free to print, fill out and bring them with on the day. Sure does save some time during the frantic hours of the morning

Ive been getting my car organised for this show. Ill be there at 8 am but have to leave for a family event at 11.30 at the latest. Are we allowed to leave early?

Our preference is for all entrants to stay until the closing presentations. It is difficult to move cars once everyone is in and people are walking around and not looking for moving cars. Come and talk to us when you are sorting out your entry and we will try and get you a place near an exit. Shame you cant stay for the presentations.

Thanks for that. Its the only way i can come. I cant get out of the other thing thats at twelve. Ive been getting my car ready for the last month. Im working on it as we speak.

hey what are the entrance / exit like, we going to be right for super low cars or should those with super lows bring some planks etc ? hahahahahaaha, seriously thohows it look cant seem to see anything major on google maps ?


Oh and yeah everyone fill out for forms NOW makes getting everyone in so much faster / smoother

yes fill the forms out now or you will make me grumpy on the day, waiting for people to fill out forms on the day is a pain in the arse
