Just checked my bank balance and it still says the bank owns my butt... Wish I was going to either race or spectate but I've gotta concentrate on getting my home loan down.

Good luck Steve and Brad even though you are coming from the wrong side of the border!!!

    Cheers,

So someone spill the beans already!!!
    How did you guys go?
I've been on boostlosing and a couple of other sites and no one had anything that I could see on you pair...

Surely one of you must have a 'smart' phone so travelling home is hardly an excuse!

jamboree 22 was an awesome event- my 6th year in a row- and must say.. the best so far!

    gas setting a 2j record..
not to mention MICKS motorsports running a 6.91@197 in a 4 banger s15. which too is a world record!
but i think the big winner of the event was the infinity of scotty porter and the r35 of jacobson!
the vq35 of porter is a really going to shake up factory extreme class. ran consistant 6.50's and i beleive even went 6.40 on sunday
and the car does it so eassssyyy! leaves the hole on the 2step like taking a shit. and will be interesting to see when jacobson puts
a vq38 in the GTR- such a sexy car!
pitty scotty hoffmans rolla wasnt out!... and hopefully next year get to see that Quickbitz Supra go up against Po Tung's supra.
should be good. but all in all... was an awesome event!!!

    I agree with all that.

MM S15 was an awesome pass on that 6sec the block split though.Factory block.
Scott Porter went 6.46 still needs to get sorted,it will be one to watch.

I'm still amazed how little toyota people actually go there.
Was a warm weekend though that probably detered alot of people.

Can't wait for next year, that kicks off at WSID.

Well what an awesome weekend, first time racing at willowbank and to take out street compact was awesome.

Qualifying saturday was ordinary, with stinking hot temperatures and the first time racing on my bigger tyres they grip so much better than my little 205s, three runs were 12.8, 12.4, and 12.2 all stuffing the launch, with 2.1 60 footers.

Sunday i ended up dialling in 11.8 knowing that if i could get it off the line mid to low 11s were achievable, and it served me well in sydney getting me to the final, i had a couple of close calls, where old mate beside me red lit, and on one run i ended up going 11.6 with a back off at the end of the track. Best 60 foot of the day was a 1.6 with regular 1.7s during the day. Best on the 205s was a 1.5, need some more practice as its a totally different car to get off the line.

Will try and get some pics and vids up in the next few days, just need to say a big thank you to justin and everyone in the backtrack crew for their help and support, and also john at microtech for letting us into the corperate box, the girls and kids wouldn't have survived without it.

As the boys above said there was some awesome racing with records broken throughout the weekend
