Single TB gives about same of slightly less power but sacrifices response for ease of tuning and optimal efficiency. Silvertop itbs have round outlets, blacktops have an irregular shape that is harder to adapt. I found a pipe with the same dimensions and beat it oval and it aligned the 2azfe port perfectly.

    Cheers.

Made a custom sanding block for the rear seam.

I got the argo shield and did the rear arches this arvo and also finished the rear floor off.

Still to address the windscreen opening, and the drivers floor which had some issues from a leaky clutch master that led to rust patches in the floor sheet.

Got some more black for another guide coat. half stripped the front gaurds, ready for a bit of prep.

Do today I made a plate to seal up the rusty area around the drivers floor, and another little one at the side where the rust also occurred.

Got into welding up the little imperfections I could see and after a while it was all solid.

Fixed some old screw holes and also some pinholes in the old welding that someone has done in the drivers floor, and then ground back some old resin and found more defects, and just did all the little 5 minute jobs.

All that remains is to grind her back and double check for pinholes, then to weld the screen opening, and the two small spots under the boot seal that had rust starting.

    Getting there.

Got a random zenki trueno mudflap, Ill be using it until I can swap someone for a zenki levin type.

I re organised the fuel system and fitted the quieter carter lift pump.

I filled the surge tank so I can just put it all back together and it will just start after a quick prime or two.

Got it all buttoned up, its a work of art I think. Its good my hands aren't too big. Put in a lot of fresh hose and all new hose clamps. There is about 6mm above the lift pump to the floor.

Fuel filter is easy to get to.

    Line to fill the tank

Hello guys. Thanks for the kind words.

Yes am enjoying every moment of this car. The economy has really turned around. I put 3.583 final drive in last week, and am babying it for 1000ks to run in the new gears. Then I need to change the diff oil and I can have some fun in it again. I also set the car up on closed loop fuel control, it works a treat. Before closed loop and the final drive change I was struggling to get better than 7.5klm per litre the way I drove it around town. Now after driving to Glasshouse then almost to Woodford and back on the weekend and calculating the economy from this I got a staggering 12.5klm per litre. Giving the car a highway range of around 660klm. I could probably drive this thing to Rockhampton without filling it.

One sad thing, my wife managed to smash some of the plastic that ties my dash together while the car was apart and she must have given it a good bend, because even after re assembling carefully and laminating the area back together with adhesive plastic sheets, after a week in the car it cracked up through the vinyl right where she hammered it. Fuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No more un cracked dash.
