No, it will be aftermarket, using Link G4 xtreme if funds allow.

Also a new pic of the exhaust, just needs to be finish welded, tidied up and painted.

Have had a productive time, tidied up, painted and hung the exhaust. Fitted vl commodore engine mount rubbers(!) which are much stiffer and stronger than the M20 ones and have movement limiters. Modified and fitted tailshaft. Fitted up heavy-duty VL turbo radiator and modified some hoses to fit.
Picked up a new, unused still in the box Link Plus G3 engine management system, which can have the firmware upgraded to the latest full G4 xtreme specs. This has saved me around $600-$700 over a g4 xtreme I was planning on even after paying for the upgrade, so it was a good find! This means I can use the vvti basemap that is available for the G4. I've been in touch with the dyno shop in NZ that actually developed the basemap (and did a lot of development work on the G3-G4 for Link) and he said the basemap is very well tuned. Apparently the engine that the map was developed for had a good exhaust and free flowing intake, so it should only need a bit of a touch up here and there to make it perfect for my car!
I'll post some pics when I get a chance.

Also, I'm chasing 2xvvti cam sensors, the ones halfway along the heads. Please PM me if you can help!!!

Hoping for startup video's in a few weeks!

Here is the radiator fitted up, just some paint and it's done.

The Linkplus G3 computer mounted up and some spaghetti going into the engine bay! Looks like I will be doing some wiring for the next few nights!

Were these plates on anything else in the past? They seem familiar for some reason.

They were on originally on my 2 door Lc torana that had an RB30 turbo in it, then on my HSV VP commodore, then on a mini, then on an XR fairmont! So yes, they have been around a bit!

It runs! Will update, possibly with a video soon. Exhaust sounds awesome, nice and deep but not too loud, just what I wanted!

Please excuse the untidy wiring and location of ECU as I've run it before I've neatened up wiring to prove all is ok.

    Hello
Nice build and a strong little car , I'm wondering how does the link cope with the unequal cam lobe triggers for proper vvti operation, ..

So i may have just bought an e30. Trying to resist the urge to mod it and just use it as daily! Will see what happens!

The Link copes with the triggers no problems. I'm not sure what figures etc it uses to get around it as the base map available is already set up for it.
    Cheers.

Good luck with that, I don't think I've ever had a car that I've left alone......
