Perfectly fine mate. Its exactly what we do at work and every other crash shop that
I know of use it.
Your paint wont fall off. If it does it would be from bad prep work
Hey all, I've got some rust repairs on the 28 to deal with.
What sux is that the repairs are spread out all over the body.. DS rear quarter. PS front guard. PS roof gutter. DS tailgate and DS sill.
So the amount of blending needed seems to be steering the shop to want to do a closed door respray.
The advise they will repair and prime rust sections then do a wet on wet prime sealer and paint whole car.
Just not sure about this wet on wet thing? Dodgy? Or OK? Paint all going to come off in a year?
Cheers
Joel

Thanks mate. So does it mean minimal prep of the existing paint work?
Yeah as long as the paint is in good condition. Lkke no crows feet or peeling/ sundamaged
