a340e 3 position pressure regulator gadget

Hi

Just curious how changing the pressure regulator influences shift speed and firmness. There is a screw driver adjustable pressure regulator gadget on the valve body that has three positions low, medium to high pressure.
I had a look at the position on 3 of my gearboxes and 2 were set to medium and another was set to low.

Might try one on high and see what happens.

Any input based on real experience welcomed.

Here is a good picture showing the same adjustment on a a650e valve body.



I changed mine from low to mid pressure position. Still nice and smooth shifts but I haven't really checked the shift speed at WOT yet.
