    Default hks cam gears

    Hello,

I have hks cam gears installed with hks 264 cams. I am currently doing the timing belt change on the 3sgte. The timing marks on the gears have been set by the previous owner and I havent touched them. I just want to know where the tdc marks for these gears are as I cannot see any that are like the stock gears. Is a good indicator to find tdc on the valve train is to match up the dowel at 12 oclock (where the gears bolts onto the head), when the gears are removed, with the marks on the cams?

This is an identical picture showing what I think may be the cam tdc mark where its set at the degrees, with a symbol pointing to that. In the photo there is an arrow pointing to where I mean.
