Default basic fuel injection to replace carburetor

first to mind is a centre point off an old EA falcon but what other common or cheap bombs could a good and basic fuel injection system be found on, the more basic the better and it would be for an old four cylinder

anything that cant be adjusted is just a waste of money
by the time u fk around fitting an efi system of another motor to your 4 cyl
u might as well go buy a whole new style efi complete motor and fit the complete motor and efi
any type of conversion these days gets expensive
best to try these days is the delco system as its adjustable but if u dont have the right gear to tune
it a basic tune from a shop can easily reach over 1500 bucks
so in the end just buy a microwreck or a megasquirt

well its actually really easy to play with the tune with free to download software. there are some rather pricy software with fancy gui's you can buy, but if the motor is around 1800cc to 2000cc it will run ok - prob better than on carbs - remember he wants something cheap & basic - not a motec m4

well I depends how much u want to learn or how smart u r
the free shit involves EEPROM burners and shit like that
and reading chip and trying to understand the data
at end of day for the sake of couple hundred dollars
your better of buying 2nd hand ems or micro wreck
and go from there as they are very user friendly
I guarantee if he goes Delco way it will take many times longer
    to sort it out
    it is not for beginners
then if u want a Delco full live tuning ecu
    it's up the ass

if u want cheap and sort of easy to understand
but remember u still need to learn a lot of shit
if your a newbie then buy a mega squirt
    and start researching and learning
if u don't want the hassle of learning and researching
    buy a micro wreck
but if your motor is carby and u want to
convert to efi as a guess I recon it will cost u
at least 1 to 2 grand by time u buy new efi pump
    and fuel system
then fk around with hoses and throttle cables
    and manifolds
