Ok, finally got the gearbox off with the help of Soarer21, turned out easier than i expected.

Pulled the presure plate of and the clutch is F***** lol, nice and smooth Was going to replace it anyway.

New fixed back Momo bucket seat is in and because of how I mounted it i have heaps of head room yay

New Bosch 044 fuel pump is in, just gotta get a fitting so i can connect the lines up. Have also dumpy fitted the manifold. Looks very sexy

Will definitely get some pictures tomorrow and post up after i finish working on my dads car, which now has 2 nice big holes on either side of the block

PS. If anyone has an engine crane i can borrow for a couple of days that would be awesome I can come pick it up, so just contact me on 0404 459 289

    Thanks heaps everyone

    UPDATE:

Got my hands on an engine stand today thanks to the guys at WBR(Wilson Brother Racing) who are currently sponsoring Andrew in the black cefiro who will be out on the weekend

Anyway got it up on the stand and removed the sump, plennum, fuel rail, loom, cam covers.

Replacing the sump with a front sump instead of the med rear it originally had. Will be putting the standard plennum and fuel rail back on but with new 850cc injectors and complete new wiring because i will be running a microtech ltx12s.

Going to send the cam covers away to get resprayed in candy blue, before putting them back on.

Sump should be arriving tomorrow and will try and get that bolted in before leaving for the DA round up at Queensland Raceway saturday morning.

    Update

Finished the metal insert for the cluster setup.

The only things in the cluster will be Microtech Digi Dash, which shows certain things like revs (with warning lights), water temp, throttle percentage, ambient temp, duty cycle etc.

There is will also be a high intensity light, which will be hooked up to the oil sender and will light up if oil pressure is lost for obvious reasons .

Just put the cluster back in, it doesnt have the digidash or light installed yet.

Can't say I'm a fan of that dash, But you are right on the money with the rest of that conversion. Out with boat anchor RB20 and in with JZ power. I built up a R31 skyline with a 2JZ in it. It's just stock but makes 241rwkw through the auto. And flogs the living shit out of any similarly modded skyline. (FMIC exhaust etc)

I see you are in QLD. If you have any probs feel free to ask as its probably a similar conversion to what I have done and I may be able to help.
