    Default CCG at Summernats Sunday classic vehicle display - 8th of January

    Start time:8:00am
    Location: Dickson College Carpark

    Details

    CCG'ians,

    We have been cordially invited to attend the Summernats Classic Vehicle display on the Sunday of Summernats weekend.

    Its a great chance to show off your pride and joy to a huge audience and also get a chance to check out Summernats for free!

    Please note we must give the event organisers exact information on the cars that will be attending with us so please get you info to us quickly.

    We will be meeting at Dickson College car park at 8:00am sharp.

    Arm bands and window stickers will be provided by the event organisers.

    Then travelling to EPIC, entrance is via gate 7 which is on old Wells station road (about 100 mt north of the old Shell service station)

    Display will be on the main arena like previous years.

    All passengers of entrant cars are eligible for free entry to Summernats on Sunday.

    We still have plenty more spots available but you need to get me the details ASAP.

    Thanks for organising this guys, will be a great opportunity. I'll be there, hopefully still with a motor in my car Might be a good opportunity to sell the whole thing actually..........

    You missed the small print JoJo “*AE86 Spoonters need not apply*

    That said, I’ve heard bogans now love those little “slider” cars purely on account of the amount of tyre smoke they can make while in motion. It is confusing to them though that the cars don’t stay within a 20x20 metre square while doing their burnouts

    Dont worry phil, I will be an entrant (and staff) next year and attempt their 20x20 brainless manouvers.... Not in the Sprinter tho, gonna enter a KE70......

    I am not actually working with the Nats event management this year because of my back, but still have very close ties with them. Hopefully next year my back is good and i will be right back in the thick of it.....

    Ok Leji replied.

    We now have 11 cars attending.

    Also looks like the Sunday is getting a bit of press.

    Classics on show at Summernats - ABC Canberra - Australian Broadcasting Corporation

    On the morning can everybody try and park together ?
    It will make it easier to get everybody stickered up ready to go.
