Ew as if restrict the pipe by pressing the bends in! Welding mandrel bends together is the proper way to do it.

Epic sleeper tbone, youve done well.

My dad had a 740T as a company car when I was a kid, and I've had a bit of a secret crush on the old bricks ever since This thing is fabulous, if I had the money/time/nous to build an epic sleeper it would be one of these, done just like this one. Well played sir

    Hey mate, sure thing
...drive it everyday. Runs great. Still havn't and don't recon it will have an lsd. Cant justify the cost and effort...motorbikes are easier, cheaper and more fun anyhow.

There is something particularly annoying I need some advice on....when on boost and then idling at a traffic light, engine rpm sits high (~1100) and after going down a hill or sitting on vacuum for a minute or two it idles low (~400) and wants to stall. Only on some days, doesn't matter the weather. Any advice?
I have had the ISCV apart as we believed this to be a problem much earlier in the conversion but it was simply a wiring issue so we put it back together.

    Is air con on
Could stick be sticking idle motor
Have u got battery wire connected to ecu
So it saves all the settings for idle motor and cruising mixtures

Thanks Dumbass its been a while now but I do remember having to hook up them wires correctly (ecu-battery). I left the air con wire though for when I was ready to hook up all the piping. Its not an issue anymore really but it is something that could be looked at.

Sadly I'm wanting to sell Doug as its time to move on. I plan to be out of Adelaide for work in the near future and possibly as far as Canada to be closer to my girlfriend.
Anybody want it?? I've posted a for sale thread. (hope I've done it right since I've never done it before)

    peace out
