Default Seeking advise on a good 4 speed Toyota manual box for a 2.8L Toyota Crown

I have a fully rebuild 2.6L Toyota Crown engine with an automatic transmision that we are using in our retro rod project and I would love to use a 4 or a 5 speed manual transmision instead.
The box will need to be as short as possible and since its going in a 46 Dodge pickup I'd say the 4 speed would be suitable but if the 5 speeds are available in a short box then that would also be doable.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Ed's site has a fait bit of info.
    Wxx Gearbox Specifications

But to summarize they are all about the same length. W40, W50, W55, W57, W58 would all be options for you I would think
