Default 1jz gte r32 skyline build

Sold my 1jz VR SS Commodore 11 months ago.
    That's when the depression hit.

The only solution was more 1j power, i also wanted an r32 skyline, so decided to combine the two.

Picked up the r32 a few weeks ago then really got things on the move yesterday by heading down to sydney and picking up a 1jz halfcut.

    The project begins!!

Your passion for 1j is tops, but the pics are way too small.

why do you need to reduce the size, if you upload them to an image hosting site like photobucket they resize them automatically

    Yeh link works.
To have the pics in a post like ive done what you do, when you hover the mouse curser over the picture in the photobucket account a little menu will pop up below the picture with 4 white text bars in it, click on the lower one and it will automatically the img code so you can paste in here.
    Hope that made sense.

No worries, i would never admit it on a toyota forum but i do have a bit of a soft spot for 32's.

    heres a big update
engine and gearbox is in, all mounts made by me, ive made up a set of custom dump pipes which have come up absolutely mint, and just get around the skyline steering arm!!!
got a 5 puck carbonic button clutch with ultralight flywheel, hd pressure plate
the speedo drive from the skyline was a perfect match to the r154 gearbox AWESOME!
the soarer throttle cable was nearlly identical to the skyline one apart from length, so with minor modification it fit AWESOME!
Lots of stuff matches up between nissan and toyota which is making the conversion very easy.
not long now and itll all be running.

after having many issues with the clutch release hub braking on my old 1jz, and having had one of these made before, i had another clutch release hub made out of hi tensile steel.
i can get these made and to your door for around $200 if anyone else wants one, they really are a must have if you have a hd clutch and like to abuse it!!!

Glad to hear its all comming together, its a conversion a mate of mine was a bees dick away from doing, but pulled out (and instead has gone 25/30) because he was concerned it was going to be too big a job. Seems its not as daunting as he feared.

Also good to see your worked out photobucket.
