went in a dyno day today. on 15psi with an adjustable exhaust cam gear i pulled 288rwhp.
i think the engine may be a bit tired but happy with that figure all the same.

    some photos...

Saw you at the lights out the front of Newcastle Uni this arvo, I was in the 102 turning right. Must say it is quite strange seeing a TRD sticker on a R32

Curious as to what radiator and fan/fan shroud you used?

used the r32 radiator and shroud...

    long overdue update.
the car was down on compression and blowing losts of smoke from the valve stem seals.
so i did a quick engine build.
rebuilt the 1jz, skimmed the head a bit. new rings bearings seals.
    did it all myself.

got the urge for more power
    so went down this path...

    t66 turbo
    440c injectors
    rising rate fuel reg
    safc2 controller

after stuffing around with a shocking tuner i ended up seeing a guy on the central coast and finished with
413 hp or 308kw at the wheels on 24psi.

the car is an absolute animal, especially only waying 1250kg it feels like its going to lift off when you're into it!
    LOVE IT!!!

Nice work, I'm surprised the fan mounts up and in the same spot on the 1j.

Ahh yeah. if J motors have a weakness it would be the stem seals, making some good snort now, you have to be happy with that, going to keep it now?
