can an engine oil cooler be used for auto trans cooler

there is heaps of engine oil coolers on ebay, could i use one of them on an auto,

i personally cant see a difference

carnt see why not i am running a falcon tranny cooler as a oil cooler and it seems to like it

Transmission fluid is thinner than engine oil. So trans fluid in oilcooler seems fine to me.

But oil in a trans cooler MAY run into flow problems
