which model of 4AGE???

Hi, is the picture below a 4AGE ? If yes, which model of 4AGE is that?

I want to put it to my AE82 seca.

Mate try the search button on these forums and u would find your answer. Also if you check out the old toymods forums these a heap of information on what 4age's are what.

Spoonfeeding: That is a smallport 100kw 4age found in corolla's gti /sx around 1989-93 i think. but just search it all and you will be amazed how much this is asked.

And is thats called a redtop?

So how about this? just spray it red in colour or different?

Well that first picture is also knowed to be a redtop however cam covers can easily be changed therefore you cant go by the cam covers to determine which type of motor it is. You will notice on the bigport's aka blue top aka 86kw 4age they have a TVIS system which usually has a TVIS plate on the top of the intake manifold.

ok, I want to replace a 4age to my AE82 . i saw the 4AGE (1st picture above) for sale at about $400. (price ok or not?) But i don't know what other stuffs it comes with.
so what i need from him are: ECU and wiring loom, engine mounts, exhaust manifold and B-pipe, am i correct?
And what else do i need from him in order to fit my car?

I really have no idea.

Yep, the pictures above are of a smallport 4A-GE. To put one in your AE82 you will need the ECU, loom, electrics (coil +ignitor), sensors, flywheel + clutch (can use bigport AE82 one, but it's smaller).... engine mounts and exhaust manifold are cross compatible, but your AE82 engine mounts are more than likely as shagged as Courtney Love..... so i'd replace them with new ones if possible

Otherwise, it's all a bolt in affair.
