    Exclamation 2011 Wakefield Park 6 Hour Regularity Relay

    Wakefield Park will be having the 2nd 6 Hour Regularity Relay on July 16 & 17 2011

    We will heading up with a team

    Maybe all those NSW member who came down for the Winont/AROCA one might want to enter.

    It is being run by Wakefield Park, and just as a matter of interest Benalla Auto Club (BAC) own both Wakefield Park and Winton. So it is run with club events in mind. Matt, the manager is a good personal friend.

    We will be not bringing the same people as we raced with at Winton, so your title retention might be safe.

    I'm sure a title defense will be on a few people's minds.

    Hi,

    What's the go? You drive your car for x number of laps and then "tag" the next dude? Your position/time after all have ran and the race is done gives you your position, adding all your car times etc together?

    Sounds interesting. Might be a good chance to get Ronnie out on the track.

    I think it was something to do with lapping close to, but not faster than a nominated time, with penalties for being too far away from this time. That way, you don't need the fastest car, just consistent, and can then have a variety of cars on the track.

    Tony & Justen are probably better off qualifying this, though.
    I know at least one Toymodder from last year won't be there.

    What Steve said.

    Actually Ronnie would do great in this event. The faster cars get held up a lot by slower cars so it is harder to maintain consistent times.

    That is nice brief concise way of putting it and yes that is pretty much how it works

    Yes they do, it happens to us at the Winton 6 Hour, 1:40 is the cut off for their event, our 5 drivers are 1:41, 1:44, 1:44, 1:45 & 1:46, so we spend most of our time passing about 80% of the field.

    We are slowly getting our team together.

    So far we have as drivers:
    * Trev
    * Steven
    * Stephen
    * Harro?
    we need one more, and have a couple of interested people

    We are still woking on getting our timers and manager, time to call on more family members - LOL

    If I could guarantee that I could get my rally Excel finished, then I'd definitely put my hand up.
    What could be more consistent than a mechanically bog stock 1.5L weezbox with coilovers & a cage.
    Basically just drive flat stick everywhere

    And watch the mirrors a lot
