Yep another great day - except that teh corolla came home on a trailer for the first time ever. Nothing terminal, just a snapped driveshaft at the nut on the outside of the hub. Straightforward replacement... or...

Thanks for the opportunity to run with you guys yesterday but I didnt get much of a chance to met anyone. I had a few runs in the morning but suffered a electrical gremlin after lunch which I was completely in the dark with fixing the problem.
I have a tiny bit of footage of the rolla but mainly my car.
Here is all I have from outside but maybe some incar in a day or two

Driveshaft should be an easy fix.

I had a good day too struggling with my car.
Tyres too hard, brakes & suspension not hard enough.
This car's just not made for this kind of thing.
Glad I brought it down on a trailer because the wheel alignment was out by a long way by 2 o'clock, along with doing something to the tyres so that they're out of round on the edges, causing the car to shake in corners.
Front rotor still rubs on the lower ball joint so it's going to be removed and reverted to stock and won't be coming back to the track.

Need a toy for this kind of thing.

Need to figure out how to get a lower suspension brace done by then too...
And find some cheapish 16" rims with a 4x114 stud pattern...
and swap the engine & box over...

Was a perfect day at the track.
Was good to meet and re-meet some of the Toymodders.
Garth, sorry didn't get a chance to catch you before I went.
I think you were pushing the rolla out of pit lane last i saw you.
Will be back there for May, hopefully with full power and maybe a little bit more
