Post Help with type / heat range PLUGS for 3SGTE ENGINE

I have tried some Iridium Bosche
with 0.8 gap but they fluff and miss under load when boost kicks in.

Going back to NGK if I can source.
Anyone got a parts range please and heat range.

Has anyone tried the dual electrode plug specified for the 5SFE 3SGE?

What plug leads do you use?

Has anyone swapped to plug packs and thrown the dizzy out like on late 3SFE?
    And the 4A 3TGTE modifications.

NGK is a BKPR platinum series, or BKEI Iridium series.
    Maybe a dash 8 heat?

Anyone tried any other types at what boost and what results thanks.
and a good source/price maybe under the retail $20 price?

    8 is pretty cold.
how much boost are you trying to run? 20-25psi?

most NGK sites have plug finders

NGK BKR7E is the plug to use on stock to ~20psi 3S IMO

They are just a simple and cheap copper plug but I have had to get them ordered in specially from repco or supercheap as they dont stock them in my experience.

Their naming convention updated the NGK part number from 6097 to 4644 (v-power) if you have trouble there.

NGK's in the 7 range would be perfect.
Even the standard plugs should work fine.

    i thought the 5sfe had a 1.1mm gap?

but yeh i just use BKR6E the ones with v groove. they shgould come with the 0.8gap, but if you find they still miss with high boost you can gap them down a tad.

or get a HKS ign booster thingo, they seem to work very well.

yeh 5sfe is indeed 1.1 gap. that would explain the missing. i havent heard of any people running 8s but 7s work great even with high boost.. i bought NGK iridium 7s and work fine. 7s gapped down get used in cars with 350whp and work fine should have a prob
