Looks like one of the banners may have been called out for not behaving as it should. I'm sure Rob will get onto this ASAP to get it sorted out from both the advertiser and Safe browsing block perspective. Until then you could use IE to browse the site.

no it doesn't load the banners at all, hence why you get faster browsing on forums...

As far as I know the banners have been removed until we can get confirmation on what is happening. I'd say using any browser to browse a site known to be maliscious would not be great idea.

It appears at this stage that the issue is related to one of the banner ads. Several automotive forums are experiencing the same issue ( not all running vbulletin either )

the downside of this is that it'll get skipped by search engines - less than ideal for your legit advertisers/sponsors.

Yeah I get the same thing using Chrome.

its not just firefox,
happens in Chrome and IE.

Its listed in Google's log, Chrome's log, IE's log and AVG's log from what i can see.
This mean, people have gotten malware and it was reported to the respective organisations.

Google Chrome is doing the same for me, apparently "Malicious software is hosted on 1 domain(s), including blamesllek.com/." and "1 domain(s) appear to be functioning as intermediaries for distributing malware to visitors of this site, including bannerspace.com.au/."

I also had something try and install an .exe file when I accepted the Malware warning page... Not good.

I tried to log in via firefox and got this page, several times and I cant log into the the site via Firefox.

Internet Explorer is ok...

I'm sure the site is fine but this may be causing people issues when trying to log in.

major problems with OpenX that does the banners, its crippled a shiteload of sites out there, so for now i've disalbed the banners...
can't even reach the openX site to check out the story with fixes/patches.

bad part is, this site directly doesnt seem to be affected, google search results say yes
but when I do physical scans with google it says we're ok...

so might take a day or so for that to clear up...

it's all googles fault.... google filter
