that could explain it BUT... that's USA only. Maybe they could block the site for the USA and allow RoW to view.

No pictures for me on the ipad or home pc. Why Toyota would block this is beyond me. It just makes more work for the parts interpreters now as they will have to find the part numbers for me.

That's the whole point of a parts interpreter. If everyone knew the exact part number they wanted to order when they walked in the door then the interpreters would be redundant and you could just have an purchasing person with no product knowledge. The average Joe doesn't know exactly what they want or what number it is though.

My local doesn't have imports on file though so I'm f'd. I'm sure castle hill would but I'd have to drive there to make sure they order me the right parts, then drive back out there when they arrive. I used to grab the part numbers myself, order over the phone then just make one trip to pick them up. I'm pretty sure that parts enterpreteres were never in danger of losing there jobs because too many people had access to toyodiy. There's still plenty of people out there who either couldn't be bothered, were unable or uninterested to find part numbers themselves.

I have 49 invites left for Toymods members, use that, sign up and your back to using the site.

Send me a PM if you want one.
So an account created from an invitation is different to a normal one created through the site?

    I contacted TOYOdiy, direct quote

    "Hello,

We're very sorry but per Toyota demands we had to remove the diagrams from the site.
If you really need the diagrams you might want to get a hold of a CD called Toyota EPC.
Note: we do not distribute this application".

Dneg, what's with the post deletion? Too many people pestering you for invite or corporate pressure brought to bear?

Given the difficulty most toyota dealerships have with older parts, I thought they'd be happy to have something like toyodiy out there.

They should have the courage to just post on here why it's happening. It is their info after all and they can do what they like, but an explanation might stop the whining (mine anyhow)
