    Default Longer wheel studs, where to get?

    Hi People,

    I have tried to source some loner wheel studs for my AE92 but an having no luck. Can any one give me idears of has someone bought some recently?
    Standard ones are 12 x 1.5 thread pitch with a knurl dia of 14.1, STD lenght is 35.3 mm. I want them to be 15 mm longer again, ie 50 mm+.

    Also just have a Google for it. I remember reading that something like a Hilux or Landcruiser is a good donor for long wheel studs. However the exact details are lost in the mists of time.

    I got mine from nice - great quality, no complaints at all.
    this will cost you a little more than 2nd hand from wreckers, but for convenience and piece of mind for having new parts in there, nice is the go.

    dont quote me but im pretty sure that SW20 mr2's have nice longer studs that are only a few bucks a piece from toyota genuine.

    I would definately not get the nice products ones again. You have to chop them shorter, which isn't a big problem, but they're never the same as factory ones. Get hilux studs.

    Umm, buy the right studs then. I picked mine out of the catalog to a particular length, and that's what I received.

    I use a set of Nice products ones also, from a Magna (?), I think that's what we used.

    i'm using stud from Hilux.. way longer than normal stud..didn't measure it though.....

    i'd check a nut & bolt specialist they should be able to make up the stud for you to any length. Try the yellow pages

    You can get these thru Repco in Adelaide. Not sure about interstate though.

    I got landcrusier studs for my MA61 when I did my brake convo. Same thread as standard but ~8mm longer. Any brake shop shoud be able to source them for you pretty cheaply
    Project megap00 - Gave up and sold up. Money tree died
