    Default TA22 Vs TA23

Alright, I know they are pretty much the same other than length and maybe width? I have some carpet from a TA22 which I want to fit to my TA23, I am pretty sure it will fit, but does anyone know for sure, if not I will try on the weekend and report back.

I heard it was 4" narrower and 6" shorter - or something like that.

    What is the difference?
I thought they are the same chassis, but its got a different diff or sumthing, and suits a R x-member.

All the significant difference in the chassis is forward of the firewall, so carpet should fit no problems. Although you could always check the part numbers of one of the aftermarket carpet websites, they'll most likely have the same p/n.

    EDIT: ie, http://www.knoxautocarpets.com.au/toyota.htm TA22, RA23 & RA28 listed as the same parts.

The bootlid, glass and doors are the same, plus most of them have the same T series diff so you'd have to imagine they are the same width.

All the extra length is forward of the front window.

Zang! I might be in luck though, becuase the car has a supra gearbox(W-series I am guessing) put in by the previous owner, maybe I got lucky and he also put in a F-series diff. One can only hope, I need to have a look at it and also a search on forums on howto tell the bitches apart.

Size I believe is the main part 7.5 inch for the F.
