Default Gp Turbo Motor Upgrade? Rebuild? Swap, 3ETE

Its been a while since ive been on these forums, but anyway, a quick question for you all, will the 4EFTE head bolt onto the 3ETE bottom end?

The reason i ask is that my 3ETE has about 211,000kms on it and i need to change the timming belt. I was thinking of either throwing a low km 4EFTE motor in the EL31 (corolla II, GP Turbo) but does that require much work?

Maybe trying to fit a 4AGE or something similar

OR just rebuilding the motor with new seals and a ported head.

Anyone have any tips for me? Im fairly low on dollars, so id rather do the less costly. A belt change would be the cheapest, but the seals or rings might start failing in a few thousand km's, so i might as well rip the motor out while i can.... or should i trust the strength of the 3ETE?

    Any help would be great

    Email me : [email protected]

    Thanks heaps!!!
    Ben

Motors around that vintage will have similar km's on them anyway. A conversion is never cheap. I would rebuild your existing motor with some headwork.

ok heres the facts as im doing my exact car....

I am using a 4efte head with some 4efte and 5e internals, It all works out...
Im working my corrolla into a 300hp beast with 4efte forged internals, paurter rods and all racing gear, and a CT26 turbo from the 3SGTE. You would be best to use 440cc injectors or high if you wont to up your boost as well as the compression for the 4efte head is higher then the 3ete head.
If you need any other question about this please feel free to ask me anything...
For pics you can look at some parts i have here....
