yes they are
Its a great event even when its wet... which has been every time for me so far!
I can't go, will be in Sydney for a family annual get together. Shit planning on my dad's part.. hasn't he thought to consult the Victorian motorsport calendar first before planning these things?!
What are the rules/license requirements for this event Ian?
*hearts* his 4age powered KE70 Panelvan!
Hi, Im enthused about corollas..
You require at a minimum a CAMS Level 2 Speed licence.
You have to be a member of a CAMS affiliated car club.
Your car must be safe and well maintained and have a seat belt, battery triangle and fire extinguisher fitted, and secondary bonnet restraint of some description if the bonnet opens at the front edge.
All very easy and lots of fun.
and I didn't eve see Ians m outh move )
How much is the Cams L2 Speed license?
How much warning is necessary to sort that out to enter? I can't make the club meeting tonight unfortunately due to work
*edit*
just answered my own question. $100 for L2 Speed.

Level 2S licence is $95.......pretty much a case of fill out the CAMS paperwork and you are done. There is a tear off strip at the bottom of the form which is the interim licence until you get the proper one in the mail. So do it today and you could be racing tomorrow if needed.
Entry for Rob Roy stays open for as long as necessary to fill spots, last hillclimb you could pretty much enter on the day!

(now that's my type of racing )
Reminder that this is on this coming weekend. Just got an email from the organisers saying they are light on for entries... come on people line up and have a crack, its heaps of fun!
Sadly I am going to be in Sydney for a family gathering
Entries close on Wednesday according to the email, so no entries on the day as mentioned else where.
i was going to run but the forcast is for rain again
that would make it 4 in a row for wet days for me
nostalgia is not what it used to be:
Does that mean they would be ok if I was a no show due to the car not being ready?
Well I am thinking that if you haven't paid your money they aren't going to be upset...
Email the organisers and ask them... they can only say no
i am out
the reason entry's are down is that the dickheads are running it on fathers day
