    Bloody awesome day - big thanks to Garth & the Manly-Warringah guys for arranging everything. The old land barge sure did well today. Stoked at beating my old PB by a full second with 1:06.7!

    I'll have to check my video camera as I'm sure I have footage of Garth car cocking the inside rear a full 6 inches off the ground. Looked very cool

    Great to catch up with everyone as it's been a while since I got out. Better go update my ride thread now.

    Thanks alot everyone for a great day.. It's much more exciting having your own car on the track but I just couldn't afford to pop something.. haha
    Garth was doing some crazy good driving as was Dylan and Nath[roundy] was very quick also!

    Whipped up a quick video for you all, some highlights but there IS more video out there.

    awesome, awesome, awesome day!!!!!!!

    Everyone who didn't attend missed one of the best driving days I've ever been to at Wakefield.
    There was only a light breaze, even though it was cold in the morning, once the sun came out it felt really good, and the track was seriously grippy!!

    Everyone from the Toymods crew came away with PBs.

    Big thanks to Drifty for letting me borrow the timer for a session... the result 1:17.14 running consistent 1:17.4s lap after lap. Was timed on Simon's RaceChrono with a 1:17.0 as well but couldn't quite crack the 16s.

    Finally got the coilovers dialed in though, and fixed up the alignment a little more which made the car much more stable under brakes... the brakes are still awesome

    Glad everyone had a good day.
    Ended up driving to Coffs Harbour to service at the Australian Rally instead. Damn I hate small capacity engines teamed with an old auto...

    What an awesome day - PB over here too, 1:16.99. Snapped a couple of pics back at the Pelican afterward;

    Had the video camera but only took 2 runs i think - a session in the first timer TTV8 commodore wagon, one in the tidy white datto 1200. Might get them up on youtube at some point, along with the epic zed/civic/civic battle and torrential downpour mx5 dorifto videos both from a couple of days ago at least.

    I like how the hole in the clouds where the sun comes through is visible on the hill/trees in the background, looks cool. (first pic)

    Wow, just re-read this last page and there's some damn happy toymodders up there after what really was such an awesome day. Feels good to have been able to help you guys get out there and get so stoked.

    Even just looking at those pics reminded me of enjoying the 1:16-celebratory beer while admiring that vista.

    Anyway, back to the reason for the post - new thread is up already! Need to get things organised early this time as i'll be away at times between now and then;
