4AGZE alternator

Hey guys, i have a 4agze out of a AE101 fitted in my ae82, and it needs a new alternator, does anyone know if there is a difference between the GZE alternators from the AW11 and AE101 ?

AW11 4AGZE has an external regulator.

All other 4AGZEs have internal regulator.

So to answer your question, yes they are different.

will that create a problem for fitment ? or it working properly ?

Fitment wise it should be fine,

working wise;
If you have a read of those links posted you should be able to get it working, its not exactly complicated.. and there's pleny of info around to work out what wire goes where.
