Paid $50 membership, only 10 rep points, still cant post in for-sale, delay in EFT?

This post is intended to be useful for others experiencing the same problem.

I have been a user since 2005, but never contributed, i have only read and learnt what others have said. So my reps has not increased from the stock standard 10.

I CANNOT post in the 'Engines, Acc and Driveline' nor 'Interior/Exterior'.
I want to be able to do this.

Last night I paid the $50 membership to become a financial member, to allow me to post in the two above named forums.

From the FAQ:

Why can't I post in the Classifieds sections?
Only financial members and those who are in the Privileged group are allowed to post in this section of the forum.

The main reasons for the Board deciding to set up this section in that way are as follows:
1. we are aiming to produce a more technical based forum like the old one started as
2. we are not offering a free trading post and don't want this forum treated as such
3. selling of your Toyota (including from non financial members) can be of a benefit to everyone, including the financial members

If you are wanting to have full use of the classifieds, the best suggestions we can offer are:
1. become a financial member
2. make a valuable contribution so your reputation goes up

If you have any queries, then please contact the Board.

What is a Privileged user?
Privileged status is bestowed upon a user once they achieve 3 milestones:
1. They have been registered on the forums for over 30 days
2. They make over 100 posts in the Tech and General sections
3. The attain a reputation of 40

Privileged users are able to:
1. Post in the Classifieds sections
2. Have an avatar

During the PayPal transaction, I was advised that there may be a 3-5 day delay in my payment being recieved by ToyMods as I bank with ANZ savings account.
I was invited to input a credit card to make an instant transfer. I did this and was advised that payment was succesful and instant.

I dont want to be troublesome here, but just want to know why I still cant post in the 'Engines, Acc and Driveline' nor 'Interior/Exterior' sections, given that I have opted for paying membership (opposed to contributing and increasing rep points etc)?

I note that at the top of the 'Engines, Acc and Driveline' and 'Interior/Exterior' forums it says:

"Sticky: ***You Can't Post in this section until you have 30 Rep points. Refer Rules Above.***

Do I still need to attain 30 rep points as quoted above?
Or do I just need to wait the 3-5 days before the PayPal transfer is recieved by ToyMods?

I have to Personally put you into the Club members group when I recieve your payment through pay pal. It is not an Automatic thing. Every person has to be done indivitually and Manually as they come through / Time allows.

I think most people in your circumstance would (and should) have left this to a PM to a moderator and not created a thread for it.

I suspect that once you are moved into the section you will be able to post.

Just a heads up but short of doing a RTGS Transfer (real time gross settlement) which costs like $35 no transfer isinstant.Time is reduced if it is within the same financial institution but as a minimum anything between different institutions takes atleast 1 business day to be processed.

Depends how long you've been waiting.

Could someone look into mine? I know it was received as I got posted notification of the AGM, however no forum activation yet.

I will have to make you a new membership card and post it out to you.
You number is supposed to be 547 NOT 546.
I am Working through All forum Permissions now... But you know what....
it REALLY helps if the Forum username is Actually on the Forms .
I don't go hunting for people by names JUST usernames and if it's not written on the forums Then you will now gain access to the club forums.
