The cluster is from the JZX 100 which was not a bad fit. All the park lights are working as they should for the auto gear change

Took her out for a few runs last week and man this thing is smooth, you dont even know when the auto is changing gear, the only way you know is from the change of sound coming from the exhaust. This motor runs as cool as ice and havent even sealed the shroud to the aircon condenser yet. The ECU was throwing back one code and thats for the turbo so I stuck a boost gauge on and ran it ( problem ) had to kane it to get the boost to 0.5 and at 2400 rpm it goes from a negative and sits at 0.00 ( no good ) It should be boosting at 2400 rpm. Took out the turbo and took it to turbo exchange, the guy says it was thrusting on the shaft and you could feel play back and forth. Giving it a full service with new seals and all so hope to get it back by this Monday.

Howzit Gents. Man I sent the first turbo into a big turbo spot and they told me I need a new shaf for it and they could not get one, so I went to the importers and got my hands on another one and it all seemed good. I then inturn made the mistake of taking that one to the same turbo spot for a check up. Got it back and stuck it in and 30km down the road I blew the ceramic wheel clean off. Went back to them and they said it was somthing that passed thru the motor that took the wheel off but it was a load of crap, I went and picked up the first turbo that needed a shaft and when looking at the ceramic it was all chipped and they looked new. Any way it was back to the importers and in with another one. I get a error that comes up on the ECU and thats code 14 which is turbo boost or ignition problem and man iv been thru the thing trying to find it's sickness, only problem I found was the vsv valve that was blocked for the dump valve. The truck is also damn heavy on fule. Have you guys had these kinds of symptons on your 1J ?

On the 3sgte and the 4agze's they come with a turbo pressure sensor to sense fuel cut and also a turbo Vaccuum switching valve, the ecu will have wires going to them, they are usually located on the firewalls, sounds like that's the issue champ, fuel could be coolant temp sensor dying, use the bgb for a reference and test it. dw i know the conversion pain haha.

hilux looks mean mate gd work =)
