Don't worry Craig you do a great job in organising the cruises, I just thought the theme cruises was a great idea, such as the sweet shop, slot cars, putt putt, go-carts... etc, kind of combining the social calender and the cruise calender together a bit.

I've organised a few cruises for the au.toyotaownersclub.com folk and know how hard it is, luckilly the largest they seem to get is around 15 cars. There is a lot of preparation that goes into it, I've done a reccy run from Wollongong to Sydney to Nowra and back for one cruise (taking the back streets the whole way ).

All it takes is a idea to start a good cruise going. I've had great cruises with just 4 cars (makes it a lot of fun with small numbers). Anyone can do it. If you haven't organised a cruise before, ask one of us who have and we can help you out with the info people need to know, and why you need to prepare. But most of all, don't be scared, it's a good experience.

Keep up the good work Craig and can't wait until this cruise goes ahead, the road is one I've wanted to take for a while but never got round to it... and I live so close to it too

Hey I can vouch for Craig that cruises are a pain in the sphincter to organise, especially when they require BBQs to be organised & food & drink prepared & carted around, and then the recon runs taking up another one of your days off, luckily I found some sucker willing to take over as cruise dude!!!

I'm now starting to think it might be a good idea to find myself a car in Sydney so I have something to drive on my frequent trips over there & which will allow me to partake in the odd cruise while I'm there.
Hmmmm, maybe a certain AE71 panelvan will fit the bill.....?
