That is the advantage of the infraction system - it is up to the interpretation of the one giving it.

If you feel that it is advertising, but more so than simply advertising a thread for sale then there are harsher penalties for those - 'Blatant Commercial advertising / Non Approved group buy' 4 points/30 days as opposed to 'advertising in Signature' 1 point/3 days.

IMO, it's advertising his business (an he isn't a forum sponsor) which is far worse than advertising a thread for sale, etc.

Agreed. And, being a Club Member, you have the power to show your displeasure at this and infract them.

I was going to, but I didn't missed the 'blatant commercial advertising' infraction and didn't think that 'advertising in signature' was harsh enough for the situation.
