    Hey guys,

new on the toyota scene here. Just bought an AE80 Corolla Hatch with a 4a engine (instead of the original 2-EC?)

My names Logan, live in Castle hill, sydney. I'm 17 and this is my first car..

Its not roadworthy yet, but that will soon be fixed. Just need a bit more body work, and then make it pass a blueslip.

My list of mods that i have lined up are

-New 5 speed transmission (Its got a 4 speed manual in it =O)
    -15% Tint all around
    -Some nice, black wheels
    -Superlow king springs
    -Sound system

    Hi everyone,
just a quick message to say hi, I am planning to move out of my My00 WRX and into a classic celica (after a T22 or RA23). Hoping to pick all your brains for information and hopfully end up with my dream car.
    Cheers,
    Sam

Hey guys, been a member for a while now. Only just started posting.

Had an AE82 twincam and just got rid of it, now I have an ra65 celica with a 1ggte.
Hopefully I can learn some more stuff from all the members on here and attend some events.

    Cheers,
    Blair.

Hello, I'm Alex, I've got a collection of 740/760 Volvo's, cutting back to two, but have also in recent times aquired a RA28 Celica, well, half half ownership with my mate, but I'll be putting all the work into it.

Can't say I'm a big Toyota fan, but I can appreciate classic cars such as the RA28 and I do like Mk3 supra's and other ones.

The forum here is a bit confusing, maybe I need to make a few posts to be able to see the rest of the forum?

Tech and General Car Talk is where most of the car-related interesting stuff goes on.

A lot of the forum is restricted to regular posters/members, to keep the number of dickheads to a minimum
You'll probably find the general consensus is that Volvos are good for their diffs and discs, and that's about it But we're usually not too judgemental of those who pick the wrong make of car

Yeah, I imagine so, being the car of choice that the current camry drivers used to own in the 80's

It's interesting that Volvo guys actually consider the hilux diff stronger then the volvo diff, must be the masive torque the b230FT makes when modded makes

I really love this Celica, with all it's rust and everything, but I never planned to part own one before having a mk1 golf.

I'll post a thread up on the car in the next few days, I do love cars in general, just hate appliance cars, which all modern toyota's are, among other makes including current Volvo's, WWD FTL...

Cool Re: Official Hello and Welcome Thread.

hi guys+girls, my name's Nik and i'm in England.
i own a '90 white 1G-GTE with digital dash and TEMS suspension.
my regular forum in the UK is http://www.mkiiisupra.net
thought i'd have a look around on here for any 1G technical and tuning tips. i have a boost controller fitted on my soop and it happily pulls along on 1.3bar with no problems but i'm sure the fuel cut limit isn't far away. i've got a HKS FCD but haven't got around to fitting it yet.
anyway, thats me for now. cheers
Remembering that 1G's need love too!
