    Hello everyone,

I'm from half way across the globe, living in eastern Canada. I'm the proud owner of a 1974 KE20 Corolla. Those things are almost non existant here now, they put so much salt on the roads during winter that it's not unusual to see 10 years old cars rotten to hell...

    So here's the survivor

Manage to swap the whole front suspension for an AE86 one with vented disk and all, riding on cut 6kg/mm TRD coil

    Changed wheels to proper 4x114.3

And I'm curently working on a new receipe of destroked 7A engine... with all sorts of weird goodies and custom stuff

I'll get my things together an organize a thread about it.

    In the mean time, enjoy!

Nice rolla, and welcome to the club! Definitely a fan of the new wheels over the old ones.

    Cheers,
    Chris

    Hi There,

I am from South-Africa and have a TE31 corolla rallycar. I am currently running a 2tg/3t hybrid with a T50 straight cut gearbox. I am currently building a new engine since I broke a conrod and the whole bottom-end was demolished at about 7000rpm. I am mostly intersted in the 2tg info from this site as these engines were never available in a production model in South-Africa, so info and parts are scarce.

    Hi mate,

Welcome to toymods! This thread contains a whole heap of useful info for T series engines (specs, exploded diagrams etc), it would be a good place to start. Apart from that, getting a members ride thread going will help people see what you want to achieve and give you advice.

    Cheers,
    Chris

Hey, I'm James, registered a while back but never got round to posting. Have got a GT86 daily and share a MKIV Supra track car with my partner. Currently looking at adding a MKII to the team when funds allow. Other than that thought I'd sign up to have a look in the track forum and at the MKII builds.

    Cheers.

    Hi James,

Good to have you on board. There's plenty of great builds to read through on here, but make sure you post up yours so we can have a perv too!

    Cheers,
    Chris

    hi all.
thought I would jump on the site again.
I was a member about 5 years ago but lost my username and email so I started again
    so yeah

currently own a bike and a fiesta that the missus drives. also an r30 skyline for club rally

but that's not interesting so I need a daily driver for myself
in the past Toyotas that ive owned I had an st162 celica, 1jz Cressida, and another stock Cressida.
    also had 9 other cars.

so as the average daily just wont do as most of us on here can understand, I need something different.

at the moment I am leaning towards either a jzx100 chaser, or I will soon be looking for a ra25/ta27 celica

my plan for the celica is a 1uzfe conversion with either ITBs or twin turbo. but that will come later

I am a diesel mechanic by trade and have worked on a massive variation of motors. experience from removing a spigot bearing using a punch and a piece of bread, to installing a series 2 astron motor into my old 74 Chrysler valiant lancer.

early next year I will be looking for the ra25/ta27 celica so I will have to keep my eye out. I am unsure of the going rate for these as they have sky rocketed in the last year or two but my best guess would be in the range of around $8k to $20k depending on condition. I may even have to import one from japan if I can find one. I might settle for a ra28 if it has the single piece rear (banana lights) so if you see a cheap one going please let me know.

    anyway. see you round

    regards

    kieren (aka Nova KD)
