    Talking rob roy hill climb 27th sep

    dont forget there is a hill climb at rob roy on the 27th sep gates open at 7;30
    events start about 930
    there are drinks and food there , this is a good, well run event
    its part of the state round championship

    Do you know roughly how much it is to enter the event ian? I assume cams licence ect is neccesary?

    Its $75 entry fee, and you need a CAMS licence and car club membership.

    You can't enter on the day for this one, so you would need to have sent your entry in already I think. If you are keen contact the Event Secretary listed in the Supp Regs and see if they will take your entry.

    Bit of a mongrel of a day yesterday! Damn you Melbourne weather! I think Pete from TCCA in his new toy - a KE35 with a 4AGE in it - might have been the fastest Toyota on the day.. the rest of us spent our day wheel spinning our way up the hill in the wet or having big moment on the off camber corners up the hill...

    I was thinking of going to this, i'm glad i did'nt coz of the crap weather, so what sort of times did you guys run?

    My first run was a 36. something.. Pete did a 32 I think in his Corolla. Not sure what Ian and Frank did in their Celica's.

    this is the 7 ltr 4wd 240z that won fastest time of the day ( 22.78 sec )

    the one of the shitter was real hard to take, it involved getting out of the car at the speed of light ,lol
    no ,i pinched them of the photographers site , although how slow i went i could have jumped out ,took some piccys ,and jump back in and finish the run .
    the photographer is gary hill,
    Elgee words and pictures , google that and it comes up with his site ,then look for events

    you might have to run stiffer rear shocks your left rear wheel was bouncing about 6 " of the deck when you took off
