    Default Classic Japanese Show

    It's on again

The Classic Japanese Show n Shine at Bald Hills October 18th, 2009.

So, c'mon you Toymodders....get off your butts and get out there and help water down the Nissan/Datsun boys a little!

Seriously, this is a terrific show with all proceeds going to a very good cause 'Angel Flight'

No, i'm not connected with anyone running this event...I just went there last year and had a great time, and aim to do the same again this year.

No excuses this year as it's open to ALL Japanese cars, 4x4's, trucks etc of ANY age. (don't have to be Classic)

    Check this out.... http://www.classicjapaneseshowandshine.com/

So.....extract yourself from behind the keyboard and actually go to something...you might surprise yourself and want to do it again!

P.S If you register your interest here, who knows....we may be able to organise a convoy or two from different areas to turn up with.

I'll be going for a look but won't be entering this year, theres no point making the effort if its not a Datsun, if they really want it to be a Classic Jap event the trophies should be more fairly distributed or at least broken up into manufacturers, etc. Last year it was only Datsuns that won, and I felt there were some toyotas there (not neccesarily mine by the way) that deserved a trophy. Just my opinion, but opinions vary.

I have entered 2 off TA22 Celica's. My Yellow race car and Jeanelle's copper stocker.
Have been entered every year since it's inception and look forward to another successful year.
However we need more Toyota's as are outnumbered by all things, Nissan's.
    So bring it on.

As I said in the first post.
"get off your butts and get out there and help water down the Nissan/Datsun boys a little!"

Nissan's will never outnumber Toyota's in the Real World... So why should we let them do it here
C'mon Toyota owners.....turn up on the day, even if you don't enter the comp.

    Baaah! They're running a poll here http://www.classicjapaneseshowandshine.com./
that puts Nissans and even Mazda's ahead of Toyota's in popularity.
C'mon guys...even if you're not going to the Show & Shine....go to the website above and register a few votes for Toyota

Glen: when you walk around the show, you should call the skyline fanboys Ditsun drivers.

I just entered my 2003 Caldina GT-4 for display only. So I'll be there.

Is there a Toymods club group being entered?

lolz ... just ask Simon - he'd be more than keen to make fun of skyline drivers.

I'll be somewhere lost (or more likely stuck in mud) in the forest near Yarraman.
