Default KE70 steering column uni joints replaceable?

Is the uni joint at the bottom of the ke70 steering column replaceable? Not the knuckle that that attaches to the rack but the uni joint in the column which is located at the firewall.

I think they are although you might need a press as sometimes the cups have a spot weld to hold them in.

Also, because of the angle, a small amount of wear looks like heaps. The test should be to see how much movement is at the road wheel turning it within the wear of the uni joint.

Is your KE a manual or an auto shell?
There is a different between them, I have both shells, and one spare column form an auto,
They are also been know to having the bolt come loose and flopping around on the splines
