A340 and R154 are the same spline and O/D.
Hardie Spicer do them to to suit both the 1310 and 1350 series unis.
Ignoring the length of the tailshaft which is surely different, can anyone confirm that the slip-yoke (gearbox end) of the tailshaft is the same between the A340 automatic and R154 five speed manual?
The Automatic A340 is 23 spline, 39.95mm outside diameter, but I don't have an R154 shaft to compare.

I found the listing in the Hardie Spicer catalogue last night for "Supra Turbo" but that's all it said. Specs matched up to what I have, but wasn't sure if it was referring auto/manual or even which model supra
Happy that I can now move on to a Hardie Spicer unit instead of the crappy pressed in (and tiny) universal joints in the standard A340 tailshaft.
